We welcome people connected to Children and Young People diagnosed with cancer - parents, siblings, friends, carers, teachers and other child practitioners to every session, for a hot drink, a light bite or a chat.

We are family-friendly and young children are welcome.

You Are Not Alone.

Has a child or young person you know been diagnosed with a brain tumour or cancer?  Do you think their parents, siblings could do with support?  If so, we are so sorry this has happened to someone you know.

A brain tumour or cancer diagnosis in a child is a devastating life changing event.  We understand that children and their parents might feel uncertain and unprepared to talk about what they are going through.  They might even feel the opposite and seem keen to share their feelings.  If you know a child or family that is struggling with difficult emotions, questions, doubts, or just in need of someone to turn to, we can help.  If you are contemplating, then please contact us to find out more about how we can help.

We can offer friendship, a listening ear, counselling, peer support, information and guidance on lifestyle - diet & nutrition, Special Educational Needs & Disabilities in children, Christian prayers and Dannie's Gift Boxes free.

This journey will challenge your strength, resolve, faith, resilience and possibly more.  Through the changing experiences, and learnings remember, you do not have to do this alone.

We are here to help.

Through our lived experience of caring for Dannie and our collaborative work with our partners,  we understand that a brain tumour or cancer diagnosis impacts the holistic wellbeing of the child and the family around them.

We bridge the gap in support services and offer our children and their families access support streams that will nurture and respond to their holistic wellbeing needs.  This is one of our enablers to reducing wellbeing inequalities and improving outcomes for our children and their families.  Click me to find out more

If you prefer, our Zoom calls are also available for anyone who would like a virtual chat.

Testimonials

"Where do I even begin. The Daniella Logun foundation means so many different things to me. Since my daughter was diagnosed with a brain tumour 4 years ago they have offered nothing but kindness and support. I know I can call or text Angela at anytime with any concerns or questions, big or small, she welcomes me with open arms every time. Knowing you have a shoulder to cry on and an organisation who is there for you consistently means so much to me. They are not only that but the knowledge the charity has within the brain tumour community is fantastic. They help with anything from counselling to our children’s schooling, the list goes on. Angela and Terry provide a place you feel safe and loved and I honestly don’t think I would be where I am today without them. I’m privileged I can now call them friends and their work within the brain tumour community definitely doesn’t go unnoticed.

I love you guys dearly. ”

“DLF helped me with things I didn't realise I needed. We are in the depths of experiencing the impact of 'life after treatment' and all the challenges that it brings."

"I reached out and DLF found me. Learning how to navigate our new normal can be like staring into a big black hole and DLF is the torch”

“We just want to make our son's education [go well] and set him up so that when he comes into contact with challenges in the workplace, and in life, he’s able to deal with them effectively – keeping his calm as well because I believe that’s very important."

"I definitely feel supported and I definitely feel the weight of you and the charity behind us.  Thank you so much for your support. I do what you do which is championing and advocating in the background."

"Thank you so much. God bless you for what you do. You don’t know how supported I feel because as I’ve said I’ve done this journey by myself for so long, so I really do appreciate you more than I can actually express. Thank you, thank you so much."
