DLF Bike Ride 2022
Our first-ever bike ride in April 2022. Six dads and a son raised £630 in memory of Dannie, Alex, Raquelmi, Amanjot, Tom and Dylan.
Our first family bike ride, held on Saturday 23rd April 2022 in memory of Dannie, Alex, Raquelmi, Amanjot, Tom and Dylan.
A community effort
Our original target was £300, and thanks to our community we raised £630: more than double our goal.
Thank you to the six dads and one son who took to their bikes on Saturday afternoon, and to Andy, who put pedal to the metal on his gym bike and covered a smashing 50km in total.

Why April
April is Dannie's birth month and the month the cherry blossom flowers. In Japanese culture, the cherry blossom is a symbol of the transience of human existence: beautiful, fleeting, powerful. It has become the symbol of our bereavement service for families who have lost children to cancer.
