Childhood Cancer Awareness Month 2023
Partnering with the Childhood Cancer Charity and joined by Cllr Shehryar Ahmad-Wallana and Steve Tuckwell MP for our Wear Something Yellow campaign.
For Childhood Cancer Awareness Month 2023, DLF collaborated with the Childhood Cancer Charity to raise awareness of the wellbeing needs of children with cancer and the research challenges limiting innovation in treatment and care.
Reaching the community
We reached out to the local Voluntary, Community, Social and Enterprise (VCSE) sectors across Hillingdon to raise awareness of childhood cancer as a cause that connects us all.
Wear Something Yellow
Our #DLFWearSomethingYellow campaign was joined by Cllr Shehryar Ahmad-Wallana, Worshipful Mayor of Hillingdon, and Steve Tuckwell MP (Uxbridge and South Ruislip).
Family Fun Day
The month culminated in our CCAM Family Fun Day, bringing families, friends and community partners together for a day of connection and celebration in the middle of a difficult reality.
